Job Offer – Quality Control Inspector 

Location: Beauce Region (Chaudière-Appalaches)

Job Type: Permanent – Day and Evening Shift (with evening shift premium)

Your Role

You will join a dynamic team specialized in the transformation of steel structures and will be responsible for ensuring the compliance and quality of the parts produced in the factory. You will actively contribute to maintaining quality standards and the continuous improvement of processes.

Your Responsibilities

• Check and interpret technical drawings to ensure compliance with established standards.
  

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of welds and ensure the traceability of steel parts.
  

• Ensure that quality criteria are met at all times.
  

• Document non-conformities and ensure follow-up with the relevant teams.
  

• Participate in the training and mentoring of employees to ensure the maintenance of quality standards.
  

• Collaborate closely with production managers and sector leaders.
  

• Operate lifting and handling equipment to manipulate parts.
  

• Perform any other related tasks to support the overall quality of the product.
  

Desired Profile

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in steel structure or a related field.
  

• Excellent mastery of reading plans and welding symbols.
  

• Sharp observational skills and attention to detail.
  

• Ability to work independently and show initiative.
  

• Ability to apply key quality principles: prevention, assessment, compliance, continuous improvement, and accountability.
  

• Team spirit, leadership, and ease in interpersonal relationships.
  

• Relevant diploma or training (an asset).
