Class 1 Delivery Driver

Reporting to the Driver/Delivery Supervisor, you will make deliveries to our clients (food stores, grocery stores, supermarkets).

Assigned refrigerated truck.

Responsibilities

  • Daily inspection of your truck (pre-trip inspection);
  • Inspection of your cargo (loaded the previous day by the order pickers according to your routes) and departure;
  • Lifting loads, moving boxes manually;
  • Moving pallets using a manual or electric pallet jack;
  • Delivering orders to customers according to your assigned routes; Dock-to-dock and manual;
  • Establish respectful and trusting relationships with clients and colleagues;
  • Communicate information effectively and professionally.

Work Schedule

  • Four (4) days per week for 45-50 hours
  • Tuesday to Friday (Monday off)

Desired Profile

  • Early riser, shift starts between 3:00 and 4:30 a.m.;
  • Good physical condition essential;
  • Drive safely;
  • Punctual, reliable, resourceful, responsible, and hardworking;
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team Team.

Training and Skills

  • Class 1 driver's license;
  • Good driving record;
  • Experience with delivery and handling using a tailgate;
  • Experience operating a forklift and jigger;
  • Fluency in spoken and written French; English preferred;
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
