Day laborer/Industrial painter

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the Production Foreman, the General Labourer/Industrial Painter is responsible for ensuring the completion of assigned tasks and projects. This requires a high level of precision.

More specifically, the person will be required to:

• Clean the various components;
• Masking in preparation for sandblasting and painting;
• Prepare the required paint mix and set up the workstation according to the projects to be carried out;
• Sandblast the parts;
• Paint and spray metal and steel parts and components;
• Handle parts using an overhead crane and forklift;
• Complete the required documentation related to their duties;
• Complete projects while adhering to the required quality standards;
• Ensure the use of good occupational health and safety practices;
• Work while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Good order;
• All other related tasks.

Desired Profile 

• AEP in industrial painting is an asset;
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in the heavy industry;
• Initiative, diligent, rigorous, and meticulous;
• Demonstrate a safe work attitude;
• Excellent knowledge of painting tools and equipment;
• Organized and able to plan tasks effectively within the given timeframe;
• Excellent customer service skills.
