MEP Industrial Drafter - Day Shift

1 Position Available – MEP Industrial Drafter – Day Shift (40 hours/week)

Hason Steel, a rapidly growing company in the field of manufacturing equipment for refineries (pressure vessels and more), is looking for two MEP-specialized industrial drafters to join its dynamic engineering team!

Under the supervision of the Engineering Director, your main role will be to design the equipment to be manufactured, in collaboration with the engineers and the production department.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing manufacturing drawings from sketches, specifications, and technical explanations
• Adding all the technical details required for manufacturing (welding, materials, testing, etc.)
• Performing revisions requested by the client or the workshop
• Maintain a library of standard parts (flanges, pipes, welding symbols, etc.)
• Control the versions and distribution of drawings
• Produce material lists for bids
• Model equipment in 3D (SolidWorks)
• Create cutting lists and files for cutting machines
• Design optimized manufacturing sketches
• Participate in various related technical tasks

Desired Profile:

• DEC in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Excellent command of SolidWorks
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD
• Knowledge of manufacturing Welder/Fabricator
• Good understanding of welding symbols
