Fire Alarm System Inspector

As a fire alarm system inspector, you will play a vital role in protecting our clients' people, buildings, and facilities. Your mission will be to inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems to ensure their proper operation and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems, including smoke detectors, control panels, sounders, and other related equipment.
  • Identify any faults or risk areas and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Write complete and accurate inspection reports, reflecting the findings and actions taken.
  • Collaborate with other team members to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
  • Educate and advise clients on best practices in fire prevention.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of standards and regulations. and technological innovations in the field.

Skills and qualifications sought:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate efforts to achieve objectives.
  • CFAA certification (strong asset) – training available after hiring. Training fees are reimbursed upon successful completion.
