Inspector - Sprinkler Division We are looking for an experienced inspector of fire protection systems, capable of ensuring the compliance, safety, and reliability of installations according to current standards. Main Responsibilities Conduct periodic inspections of sprinkler systems and related equipment. Perform functional tests and document findings. the results. Report any anomalies and recommend necessary corrective actions. Ensure compliance with NFPA, CSA, and ULC standards. Maintain a professional relationship with clients and represent the company with integrity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • CCQ Competency Card – Fire Protection Mechanics (416): (an asset)
  • Significant experience in the inspection and maintenance of sprinkler systems, dampers, alarms, and related devices (fire pumps, pre-action systems, aspirating smoke detection systems).
  • Mastery of applicable standards and codes, including:
    • NFPA 25: Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Sprinkler Fire Protection Systems.
    • CSA B64.10: Backflow prevention devices and contamination protection.
    • ULC 536: Inspection and maintenance of fire alarm systems. (an asset) Knowledge of hydraulic testing procedures, flow tests, pressure verification, and safety device checks. Rigour and attention to detail: each inspection must be thorough and compliant with regulatory requirements. Autonomy and organization: effectively plan routes and meet deadlines. Clear communication: write precise reports and explain recommendations to clients. Analytical skills: quickly diagnose problems and propose appropriate solutions.
