We are looking for a passionate, independent, and customer-service-oriented Automated Systems Technician to join our team.

In this role, you will work directly with our clients to install, diagnose, repair, and optimize high-tech electronic, IT, and mechanical equipment. Each day brings its own set of challenges, new situations, and learning opportunities. Your main responsibilities: Respond to service calls and perform on-site interventions at client locations. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and IT malfunctions. Perform repairs, calibrations, upgrades, and functional tests. Provide remote technical support via phone, email, or remote access. Train and support clients in the use of the equipment. of their systems. Document interventions and ensure follow-up on technical files. Participate in the 24/7 on-call program according to the established schedule. Occasional travel within the region.

Desired Profile

  • DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in electronics, automation, electrotechnics, industrial computing, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of autonomy and initiative.
  • Manual dexterity Developed skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional approach focused on customer service.
  • Valid driver's license.

Required Technical Skills

Networks and Infrastructure

  • Wired and wireless networks.
  • TCP/IP and UDP protocols.
  • Network configuration and troubleshooting.

Computer Science and Servers

  • Windows and Windows Server.
  • Hyper-V and virtualization.
  • Redundant servers and critical environments.

Electronics and instrumentation

  • Use of measuring instruments (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.).
  • Electronic and electrical diagnostics.
  • Reading schematics and technical drawings.

Specialized systems

  • Point of sale (POS) peripherals and payment systems.
  • Remote control software (TeamViewer, LogMeIn, VNC).
  • Reading mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagrams.

Strengths

  • Knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Experience in traffic control and IMSA detection.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Language Requirements

  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written. written communication skills.

Knowledge of English is required as the incumbent will communicate with clients, suppliers, and partners located outside of Quebec, as well as consult technical documentation, equipment manuals, and software available only in English as part of their duties.
