Listening to its customers for four generations, Laiterie Chalifoux's mission is to constantly innovate and create dairy trends, specializing in the processing of dairy products that it markets across Canada under the Riviera brand.

Your main tasks:

• Carry out stages of processing food products following the rhythm of a production line
• Check products and packaging during production to ensure their conformity and quality
• Pack products, manually or with automated equipment, in bags, boxes, bottles or other containers
• Transport, manually or using mechanical equipment, raw materials, finished products and packaging materials in the factory and warehouse
• Perform the necessary quality checks and complete the required documents;
• Clean work areas and equipment used
• Repeatedly handle loads from 9kg to 15kg
• Perform various manual tasks requested by the immediate superior as well as tasks associated with grain returns

Special working conditions:

• For food quality and food safety reasons, working environments may be humid, hot or cold
• Be available to work overtime
• Be prepared to be assigned to another position on the same shift
• The presence of equipment makes the working environment relatively noisy
• Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and boots as well as hearing plugs are mandatory in production
• Wearing a hair and beard net, uniform and frequent hand washing are mandatory measures in the factory

Training and skills :

• (3) to (6) months of experience
• Good manual dexterity, precision and speed
• Good physical shape
• Ease of learning and enjoying teamwork
• Able to work in hot and cold environment
