Mechanic for Vehicles and Equipment

Perform various mechanical repair work on all types of motorized vehicles, equipment, and devices.

• Hold a diploma of vocational studies (DEP) in heavy road vehicle mechanics, construction equipment mechanics, or automotive mechanics, recognized by the Ministry of Education of Quebec, along with relevant experience in heavy vehicle mechanics.

• Hold a PEP (Preventive Maintenance Program) card issued by the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ).

• Possess an environmental qualification certificate – category H3 (vehicles).

• Demonstrate the ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and to perform repairs on various types of motorized equipment.

• Hold a valid class 5 driver's license that meets SAAQ requirements.

• Justify a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in the field.

Must pass a practical exam and a selection interview
