THE COMPANY

Our client, Refexio offers emergency mitigation and restoration services, including water, fire and wind damage, mold and asbestos remediation, and restoration content.

Refexio is looking for its site coordinator, who, under the responsibility of the VP Environment, will be able to direct the work, manage emergencies and provide environmental expertise.

Main challenges

The site coordinator is the contact person on the site. The person assigned to this position coordinates the work, manages the teams and provides their knowledge and environmental recommendations.

• Site monitoring (excavation, excavator management)
• Coordination of internal teams and subcontractors
• Ordering materials and equipment
• Budget management according to the employer's profitability objectives
• Communications with teams, insurance companies and suppliers
• Management/Coordination of excavations for oil damage
• Management of asbestos work

• Leadership, ability to work in a team
• Versatility, autonomy, ease of communication and good negotiation skills
• Open-mindedness and resistance to stress are assets for this position
• Report writing and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
• Proficiency in French and English, both oral and written

TRAINING and EXPERIENCE

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in construction or site supervision
• Knowledge of asbestos, mold, removal
• Basic knowledge of building
• Knowledge of environmental standards
• Knowledge of the following Office suite software: Word, Excel and Outlook
• Hold the ASP construction card, a valid driving license
