Notre histoire

En 1994, Jean-Paul Fortin et son fils, Stephan, se lancent en affaires, déterminés à la réussite et au développement de la nouvelle entreprise. Ils mettent à profit la formation professionnelle de Jean-Paul en tant que soudeur, qui fabrique lui-même les premières machines destinées à la production. Leur expertise était à ce jour consacrée à la fabrication de carton ondulé destiné au marché des portes-accordéon, mais leurs services étaient souvent sollicités pour la fabrication de boîtes de carton. Durant ces années, les fondateurs ont trouvé une grande perspective d’avenir dans cette industrie. Messieurs Fortin s’élancent alors résolument dans le domaine de la manufacture de boîtes de carton en 1996, et ce, sans réellement connaître ce champ d’expertise. Leur rigueur et leur passion les ont d’ailleurs propulsés à expérimenter et à s’y spécialiser. Depuis 2008, Stéphan et sa famille poursuivent le travail entamé. Le jeune fondateur est désormais accompagné de ses enfants, qui suivent les pistes professionnelles familiales et qui s’ajoutent à l’équation gagnante. JP Carton devient alors graduellement une entreprise de troisième génération.

L'entreprise

À ce jour, JP Carton est une PME familiale qui prend plaisir à créer et à fournir des produits de qualité. La mission commune des quelque quarante membres de l’équipe est de satisfaire les standards de qualité et de rapidité des services offerts en incluant les valeurs environnementales bien établies dans les activités de production quotidiennes. Ainsi, la responsabilité environnementale et les relations de proximité sont valeurs indéfectibles de notre organisation familiale.

Nos installations

JP Carton est actuellement établi à Saint-Hubert, ville dans laquelle s’affaire l’équipe de production. On y compte également un entrepôt pour stocker la marchandise produite en attente de livraison. Notre expertise s’étend également en Ontario où nous avons un entrepôt pour desservir la clientèle de ce secteur. Toutes ces installations nous offrent ainsi plus de 110 000 pieds2 consacrés au développement de notre expertise et à servir notre clientèle. Toutes équipées, à la fine pointe de la technologie, nous travaillons à ce que nos emplacements soient des plus conviviaux et agréables à fréquenter.

Nous possédons également une large flotte de véhicules pour assurer la livraison rapide de la marchandise aux quatre coins du Québec. Bien que notre savoir-faire se concentre à Montréal et sur ses rives, nous sommes disposés à collaborer avec vous et à vous offrir ce dont vous avez besoin, et ce, peu importe votre emplacement.
