Technician - Mechanic

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and meticulous automotive technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems and will be able to diagnose and repair various vehicle problems.

This position is essential to ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles, providing exceptional service while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues and necessary repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
• Communicate effectively regarding vehicle condition and recommended services.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment Clean work.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Skills

• Solid knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for vehicle troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to clearly explain technical information to customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant automotive technology certifications or training are preferred but not required.
• A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Salary: $28.41 to $45.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, permanent, 4 days a week
