Welder-assembler

As an assembler-welder, you will work within a close-knit team, with the opportunity to join different assembly and welding departments. This role will offer you numerous opportunities to contribute to diverse and stimulating projects.

• Schedule: Monday to Thursday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Main Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret shop and assembly drawings

• Determine, prepare, measure, and cut the required materials

• Use GMAW manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and other equipment Manual flame arresters and metal forming machines

• Assemble and adjust metal parts according to the plans

• Comply with the welding requirements and dimensions specified on the drawings

• Apply paint to welds as needed

• Install, lift, and move materials using lifting equipment and overhead cranes

• Verify the conformity between the drawings and the work performed

• Perform a periodic check of the condition of the equipment used

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Perform other duties as required and as directed by the Management What we are looking for: You have assembly experience, you are proficient in reading shop drawings, and you are a responsible and conscientious person. A big plus if you already have your CWB cards! Competitive salary based on your experience: You could earn between $27.00 and $37.00 per hour, depending on your expertise and skills.
