Key Responsibilities:

· Realize and implement tests (wear, temperature, combustion tests) and identify anomalies and make technical adjustments

· Make the assemblies required to test different types of heating products. Build the test benches

· Define the most appropriate measurement methods for a given product to test and test strength and load tests on different chimney components

· Write the test reports by integrating the observations, measurements and analyzes by following a technical text

· Participate in the conduct of quality assurance actions by analyzing possible product failures

· Perform first level maintenance and maintenance and also handle equipment purchases

· Use Excel software to compile and analyze test compliance

· Participate in the fabrication of chimney prototypes

· Preparation of test documents for approval

· Participate in product design

· Problem Solving: Providing Practical and Practical Solutions

Selection Criteria:

· Have a DEC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

· Be bilingual (French and English in speaking and writing)

· Be able to read, understand and analyze technical texts

· Possess manual skills and have worked with saws, hammers, carpentry, etc.

· Know the fabrication of sheet metal (asset)

· Love the technical side and have worked with drawings

· Know the Excel Spreadsheet

· Be an independent, resourceful, meticulous and organized person

· Know how to use the measuring instruments (Thermocouples) and the data acquisition system

· Knowledge of Building, Construction and Ventilation Mechanics (Asset)

· Teamwork, Analysis and Communication Capabilities

· Learn about SolidWorks software (Asset)

· Know UL, CSA, EPA and other standards (asset)

Schedule and salary:
