To learn more about BBA, follow us on LinkedIn and join the networks of our talent attraction specialists: Description: Your role as a piping designer will be to: • Prepare plans, specifications and other technical documents in various fields; • Ensure the quality of the service and a good relationship with the internal customer by contributing to the various projects related to the design of piping in projects such as mining, oil, chemicals and of biofuels, or in the energy sector; • Perform piping design, 3D modeling and the generation of isometric drawings or other deliverables under piping mandates for the indust series. You will also be asked to use the 3D scanning technology and the scatter plots thus generated; • Actively participate in the search for innovative solutions; • Perform other technical functions helping to carry out projects • Participate and coordinate the development of deadlines, budgets and project monitoring; • Plan, organize and control criteria or standards specific to a project; • Make sure that the resources are adequate for the mandates under his responsibility; • Determine the costs and quantities according to the needs of the client; • Evaluate the customer satisfaction and maintain close relations with him. /> Work Schedule: 37.5 Skills: • Be adaptable, • Maintain good relationships with colleagues, • Have ability to learn in action; Be results-oriented; • Be capable of self-development; • Be independent. • College diploma in mechanical engineering or other relevant study program; • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; • Experience in the mining and metals or heavy industrial sectors; > • Be good at communication and interpersonal skills; • Very good knowledge of AutoCAD, SmartPlant, CADWorx, SolidWorks and Navisworks tools • Excellent CAD proficiency; • Excellent knowledge of applications IT systems, such as the MS Office suite, databases and interfaces; • Asset: Bilingualism(english, french).
