Summary of Functions

Reporting to the Public Works Department's Operational Planning Manager, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring the availability of assets, tools, human and material resources in performing predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance work. estimating, planning and coordinating the scheduling of tasks within the Public Works Department's operational divisions (Aqueducts, Parks, Green Spaces and Arenas, Buildings and Electricity, Fleet and Equipment Management and Highways) and this, in compliance with the policies, procedures, directives and standards in force; it reviews current practices and makes recommendations regarding process improvements, including the optimization of maintenance routes and the operating paths of each of the maintenance divisions. The planner must evaluate the specifications; inform managers of the different divisions of the results, deviations from the objectives and make recommendations to achieve the desired results; it must develop and implement performance indicators to assess the effectiveness and quality of the service offered. He is also responsible for updating the assets in the CMMS. He must also develop preventative maintenance tasks according to manufacturers' recommendations and balance the workload according to the assets and capacity of the available workforce.

Skills and requirements

- Hold a college diploma in Industrial Engineering or a related field. - Have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in the field of maintenance planning and maintenance or operations management. - Knowledge of Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) such as TI Guide will be considered an asset. - Have a minimum of experience in a unionized environment. Pay

According to class 2 of the salary scale for professional employees, from $ 68,058 to $ 89,550.
