NV-09As Project Control Officer, you will help plan and monitor projects to achieve the targeted objectives on schedule and on budget.Your role will be to advise and guide the Administrative Department with respect to the monitoring and efficiency of projects, programs, or a group of major projects. To this end, you will plan, prioritize and coordinate work to keep the commitments made in accordance with the targeted objectives. You will anticipate issues and trends, suggest solutions and ensure they are implemented. The nature of the files and projects will require in-depth expertise in your field of activity.You will help the team solve complex problems that require analysis and in-depth understanding of the line of business. Coordination is critical, and you will interact with various stakeholders who work in complementary fields of expertise. Therefore, you will need highly developed interpersonal skills.You will serve as the reference source and contact for your unit, work teams and external suppliers.You will serve as an advisor and coach for dedicated clients and partners as part of various significant intervention and development initiatives in your field. You will propose solutions for improving or optimizing standards, policies and programs. The nature of the files and projects will require in-depth expertise in your field of activity.
General Information on the Position
Main responsibilities
- Support the project manager and their team in updating the project or program plan
- Monitor project costs, including following up with internal and external suppliers, in order to respect the estimates and plans established with the project manager
- Participate in producing progress reports in the format requested, and produce and analyze various performance indicators
- Help prepare presentations, statistics, reports and other documents containing information on project financing, risks and issues and share them with various committees and decision-making bodies
- Serve as liaison between stakeholders so as to ensure the monitoring and efficiency of projects, programs or a group of major projects; establish dependencies and links between projects and programs as needed

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in project management or other appropriate field
- A minimum of four year of relevant experience
- Experience in the construction sector

- PMP-certified (an asset)
- For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required
Specific knowledge
- Good knowledge fo Ms Project
- Independent speaker, intermediate knowledge of English
