Project controller

Reporting from project control director, the project controller supports and advises project managers in planning, monitoring and controlling budgets and forecasts. He designs and supports planning and control strategies and applies them. It ensures the integration of systems specific to projects with other customer systems. Its main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Prepare the monetary flows of the projects and ensure the funds available before purchases;
  • Check budgetary hours and update forecasts;
  • Estimate and plan the hours for work -wing changes; Assist and advise project managers in planning their activities;
  • Produce reports, indicators and other monitoring and control elements to see the advancement of the project and the achievement of the objectives;
  • Ensure the Activities for monitoring, control and analysis of all prizes of projects;
  • Develop recommend and implement strategies and methods in terms of planning, monitoring and cost control;
  • Perform different analyzes and issue recommendations (deadlines, costs of the various activities of activities, service level, operational problems, etc.);
  • provide technical support and act as an expert Advice;
  • Maintain your knowledge of available products, standards and technologies in his specialty.

Skills and requirements

  • hold a baccalaureate in business administration, engineering or in a discipline deemed relevant;
  • have a minimum of 3 years of experience in planning and project controls;
  • have a PMP certification, an asset;
  • Good mastery of English and French, written and spoken;
  • Sense of meticulousness, rigor and accuracy;
  • autonomy, initiative and sense of priorities developed;
  • Ease of adaptation and sharp judgment.
