PROJECT MANAGER - JUNIOR

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

Under the responsibility of the Division Director, the Junior Project Manager is the person who links the various people inside and outside the site. He must work continuously to ensure that the information concerning work on the site is known to all. It must, in particular, monitor equipment received at the site, track the hours spent at the site by activities, plan future work at the site, monitor the progress of the work, and receive and follow the drawings. He acts as a liaison between the customer, the supervisor and the other contractors, he ensures the quality of the installation and all other related tasks.

TASKS

• Participate in various project and design meetings;

• Document translation support and summary;

• Inspection and site visits to observe and track progress;

• Installation, test, data collection and prototype evaluation report;

• Propose strategies for installation and efficiency improvement;

• Perform tests on the various systems and proceed to the verification of the causes in the event of breakdowns;

• Support the integration of new systems and support reporting as needed;

• Coordinate training activities, prepare content and conduct training as needed;

• Prepare summary reports on projects and present findings to clients;

• Review project progress, adjust schedules, identify opportunities and associated risks;

• Follow up on submissions;

• Coordinate shipments to shipyards and track returns;

• Support optimization of project costs;

• Document Support;

• Any other related tasks.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Academic

· University Degree in Engineering / Management and / or Relevant Relevant Experience

Experiences

• 1 to 2 years of experience relevant to the job;

• Health and general safety course on construction sites (ASP Construction - 30 hours);

• Construction site experience (an asset);

• Excellent command of French (oral and written);

• Excellent command of English (oral and written).
