Project Manager

DevCor (1994) is currently looking for a project manager to join a young and dynamic team.

Browse from the project manager, his main role will be to complete the realization of construction project of the institutional and commercial type both financially and technical. Relevant experience in the implementation of institutional project is paramount. The licensee will have to control priority management. It will also have to be able to develop and respect the schedule of works. An excellent mastery of cost follow-ups will be required throughout the workflow.

Description of tasks and responsibilities

  • Produce and follow the project schedule on MS Project.
  • Analyze subcontracts and grant subcontracting contracts.
  • Analyze the tables of submission and grant the purchase contracts for the work done by the teams of Devcor workers (1994).
  • Manage, supervise and document construction projects.
  • Produce payment requests.
  • Conduct estimates for additional work.
  • Check the additional work and impacts on the schedule.
  • Participate in the drafting of end-of-project documents.
  • Ensure that the work is executed as plans and quotes.
  • Mastering cost management to ensure the profitability of projects.
  • Participate actively in construction meetings with customers and subcontractors.
  • Work closely with Project-stakeholders.
  • Apply procedures related to health and safety management for all projects.

Wanted qualifications

  • dec / tray in architecture or engineering or other relevant training
  • 5 years of relevant experiences in the simultaneous management of several institutional construction projects.
  • rigor and autonomy.
  • skill to manage priorities and stress.
  • Excellent knowledge of reading plans and quotes.
  • Great Analysis capacity.
  • Excellent interpersonal communications and team spirit skills.

  • Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite ( Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project)
  • Knowledge of the laws governing the field of construction and health and safety at work (CNESST, building code, other).
  • Valid driver's license.
