AN OVERVIEW OF THE CHALLENGES AHEAD:

  • You will create purchase orders for raw materiel and services;
  • You will follow deliveries with suppliers;
  • You will negotiate prices and delivery terms;
  • You will be involved in the elaboration of supply strategies;
  • You will find creative ways to solve multiple shortage situations;
  • You will follow-up on non-conformities and claims;
  • You will support the Finance department to resolve invoice discrepancies;
  • You will be aware of electronics market trends and component availability;
  • You will review obsolete material and dispose of that material on the market;
  • You will be involve in continuous improvement projects and Innovation Days;
  • Finally, you will maintain good business relationships with suppliers.

YOU WILL IMPRESS US IF YOU HAVE:

  • Studies: College degree in Supply Chain Management, Administration or Operations Management or equivalent experience;
  • Experience: Ideally 1 to 5 years in Supply Chain;
  • Knowledge: Microsoft Office, particularly Excel at intermediate level, MRP/ERP;
  • Assets: Knowledge of SAP and of electronic industry, outspoken personality;
  • Profile: Strong ability to work in a team, able to function under minimum supervision, reacts well to pressure, able to manage multiple priorities in parallel, flexible and an excellent communicator;
  • Languages: English and French (verbal and written).
