SUPERVISOR (E) – methods and control (health and safety)

The challenges ahead:
Reporting to the Director, you oversee various activities and projects within the Building Management Department, including operational directives and occupational health and safety. You will have to prepare and control the consistent and consistent application of methods, procedures, programs and processes, in connection with corporate guidance.
As part of your activities, you make recommendations and develop action plans to increase the efficiency of operations and reduce non-compliance with existing methods and procedures. You plan the annual training needs, ensure the support by the managers by offering them your support, all according to the usual principles of an integrated management system. From this perspective and as needed, you supervise and coach employees to disseminate and, among other things, help to improve and maintain a safe work environment.
Finally, you develop tools and participate in the development and implementation of computer systems.
The profile sought:
Baccalaureate relevant to employment (for example: in business administration (operations management) and / or certification in health, safety, occupational hygiene or equivalent); Five ( 5) years of relevant experience, preferably in a unionized environment; Experience in OHS component of property management would be an asset; Practical knowledge of applicable OSH laws, standards and regulations; /> Sense of analysis and problem solving; Recognized skills for customer orientation, development and coaching of multifunctional teams to achieve targeted results.
