For its Public Works Department, the City of Laval is looking for a:
SUPERVISOR (E) - VEHICLE AND EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT
Permanent position - Evening schedule
The challenges ahead:
As Supervisor - Vehicle and Equipment Management, you will oversee the repair and maintenance of City vehicles and equipment (machinery, bodywork, machinery, tires, etc.). As such, you will be involved in the planning of the work, you will estimate the costs, determine the delivery times and coordinate and monitor.
You participate in the establishment of guidelines, objectives and programs of maintenance, repair, you will control the use of the budget available to you and will periodically report.
Finally, you are responsible for the management of your staff, including health and safety at work and performance monitoring.
The profile sought:
- College technique and / or professional degree in mechanics or equivalent experience
- Six (6) years of relevant experience including personnel management
- Experience reviewing maintenance programs, an asset
- Strong team building skills, interpersonal communications, planning, organizing, monitoring and tracking
Work schedule: 40 hours per week spread from Monday to Thursday evening (14h00 to 24h30)
