  • Offer technical support to the various customers of the company;
  • Perform various types of tests on power equipment;
  • Perform circuit breakers, disconnectors, power transformers and measurement transformers;
  • Perform simulation programming and verification of protection relay settings;
  • Perform pre-operational checks and commissioning of new substations;
  • Troubleshoot various electrical equipment (starters, motors, transformers, disconnectors, cables, bus bars, controls, etc.);
  • Perform thermographic inspections;
  • Write verification, discrepancy and follow-up reports;
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction;
  • Comply with the requirements and security rules;
  • Writing and assisting in the preparation of plans and specifications, various technical reports (study, letters, memos, etc.);
  • Provide project monitoring and management;
  • Coach newcomers regarding electrical testing, equipment maintenance, etc.

  • College diploma in electrical engineering, industrial electronics, electrodynamics or any other equivalent study;
  • 5 to 15 years of relevant work experience;
  • Available to work in the field and at clients' sites 100% of the time;
  • Experience in drafting tender, service offer and technical specifications;
  • Experience with protection relay programming and testing;
  • Very good knowledge of electrical tests on power equipment such as transformers, alternators, etc.
  • Very good knowledge of test equipment;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office (Excel, Word and Outlook);
  • Essential, spoken and written bilingualism (French and English);
  • Beavailable to work anywhere in Canada;
