The Public Works and Building Management departments offer numerous opportunities and challenging challenges for those interested in going beyond themselves in carrying out various projects. Ville de Laval is currently looking for candidates to fill several positions of technicians (supervision) of work.
Here are some projects you may be responsible for: building and repairing municipal parking lots, upgrading projects in various facilities, development projects, concrete curbs and sidewalks, several one-off repairs on the whole of Laval territory.
TECHNICIANS (NES) - WORK SURVEILLANCE
Multiple temporary positions
You will perform various works of a technical nature involving collaboration in the implementation and execution of municipal works. You will perform a variety of work related to the inspection and residential surveillance of the work. You will ensure, among other things, that the works are executed in accordance with the plans and specifications, are in accordance with the allocated budgets, the terms of the contracts and the schedule of realization to guarantee that the real quality of the works will be in conformity with the objectives of the project and with the state of the art. You will perform various tasks related to requests from stakeholders and citizens by providing them with all information and relevant follow-ups related to their request.
- Possess a DEC in civil engineering;
- Have eighteen (18) months of work inspection and supervision experience;
- Knowledge of Autocad and Civil 3D software
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Owning a valid construction ASP card
