Attentive to its customers for four generations, Laiterie Chalifoux's mission is to constantly innovate and be a trendsetter in dairy, specializing in the processing of dairy products that it markets across Canada under the Riviera brand.

Your tasks:

• Handle products according to the production phases
• Operate machines that can mix, stir, cool, package, cut, or perform any step of the manufacturing process
• Adjust and set up the machine for the Start of production
• Complete various production logs
• Wash equipment according to established processes and methods
• Comply with various established hygiene measures
• Lift weights of less than 10 kg

Special working conditions:

• Daytime schedule (5 days a week, 37.5 hours) / From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. AND/OR from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. for the BFR / Schedule may vary from week to week.
• Offered salary: $20.59 per hour excluding premiums, if applicable
• For food quality reasons and In food safety, work environments can be humid, hot, or cold.
• Be available to work overtime
• Be willing to be assigned to another position on the same shift
• The presence of equipment makes the work environment relatively noisy.
• Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and boots, as well as earplugs, are mandatory in production.
• Wearing equipment such as hairnets and beard nets, a uniform, and frequent handwashing are mandatory measures in factories.

You stand out for:

• Being able to read, write, and calculate
• Being in good physical shape and able to lift heavy loads.
• DEP - Production Equipment Operation or DES and experience equivalent
• Manual skills and dexterity
• Knowledge of basic computer programs
• Resourceful and autonomous
