Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a world leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components for landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.
You will perform various operations related to metallurgical processes on landing gear components. More specifically, you will be called to:
• prepare and assemble parts,
• carry out heat treatment or shot peening operations,
• perform laboratory tests (hardness, tensile, saturation),
• conduct inspections using non-destructive testing (magnetic particle and/or dye penetrant)
• detect and resolve technical issues,
• perform visual inspections to ensure compliance with specifications,
• complete the appropriate Quality Assurance documentation,
• contribute to the continuous improvement of operations and achieving objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs, and on-time deliveries.
Requirements:
• College studies in metallurgy (DEC or AEC) or DEP in foundry, DEP in mechanical assembly in aerospace or in structural assembly in aerospace, DEP in welding-assembly or equivalent experience as a metallurgy operator

Night shift
From Monday to Friday from 12:10 AM to 6:40 AM
Note: Depending on the collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (evening, night, or weekend).
