Assembler

Based in Montreal, NūMove is a manufacturer and integrator of robotic systems and industrial automation solutions. We develop robust and innovative technologies thanks to our expertise in design, programming, software development and artificial vision.

We assemble and program our systems directly in our 32,000 square foot workshop before commissioning them at our customers' premises. Responsibilities at NūMove:

  • Prepare the material for assembly (cutting chains, cable trays and/or wood);
  • Bolt, screw, glue, attach, tighten or fix to each other, the parts and components of the equipment;
  • Make non-complex electrical assemblies.
  • Install and print labels (electrical cable and/or product identification)
  • Move products from one workstation to another;
  • Keep your workspace and common work areas tidy;
  • Comply with quality standards and work guidelines;
  • Comply with health and safety rules at work ;
  • Perform all tasks in an orderly manner, with precision and speed
  • Respect production deadlines
  • Perform all other related tasks (building support, etc.).
  • May be required to support the production and supply team

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Hold a DES or DEP. Any combination of relevant training and experience may be considered
    • Have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar job.
  • Have good physical abilities since the job requires physical work in various positions.
  • Have knowledge of the imperial and metric measurement systems;
  • Have experience in reading plans and documents will be considered an asset;
  • A forklift card would be an asset;
  • Have manual skills and good manual dexterity;
  • Be meticulous, have an eye for detail and quality of work;
  • Basic notion of computer use as well as the office suite;
  • Perfect knowledge of French;
  • Good learning ability and logical mind.
