Handler

Lécuyer et fils has been a leader in the underground utilities industry for nearly 70 years, specializing in the production of reinforced concrete products. We are located in Saint-Rémi, Montérégie, and we are currently expanding our purchasing department. As a material handler, you will play a vital role in this growth.

Main Role: Reporting directly to the Vice President of Quality, the material handler plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our warehouses, from receiving parts and accessories to maintaining and taking inventory. They are responsible for the continuous supply of workstations, ensuring that operations are never interrupted by a shortage of materials.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately receive and organize the storage of goods.
• Manage the transfer of goods between plants, respecting priorities.
• Maintain the necessary stock levels and distribute the required items to the various departments.
• Actively participate in regular inventories and keep physical and computer inventories up to date.
• Anticipate future needs and track orders to optimize inventory management.
• Perform any other related tasks.

Required Qualifications:

• Secondary 5 diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience experience in a similar role.
• Valid driver's license; Travel required between plants.
• Ability to handle loads up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in hot and cold, dusty environments.
• Forklift certification considered an asset.
