Heavy vehicle mechanic

We are looking for a heavy vehicle mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain the mechanical systems and components of the heavy vehicle fleet. To help us achieve our objectives, we will use your expertise in mechanics and your mastery of diagnostic tools. More specifically, you are part of an experienced team and your weekly tasks will be distributed as follows:

• You perform general and preventive maintenance on the fleet of vehicles (cars, trucks, trailers);
• You perform the PEP inspection on the fleet of trucks and trailers;
• You adjust, repair or replace parts and components of vehicle systems;
• You use an electronic diagnostic tool (OBD);
• You perform occasional snow removal in the parking lot;
• You perform all other related tasks.

Here's what you need to successfully fill the position:

• You have a DEP in heavy road vehicle mechanics or diesel mechanics (an asset);
• You have a minimum of two to three years of experience in a similar position (an asset);
• You have good computer skills and are able to adapt easily to technological tools;
• You are autonomous, versatile and resourceful;
• You have an eye for detail and are professionally rigorous;
• You have relevant experience in welding (an asset).
