Welder

The welder, under the supervision of his team leader, welds and assembles steel and aluminum equipment

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Weld using the semi-automatic process using operational procedures while respecting the required quality standard;
• Perform uniform welds of variable lengths;
• Perform welds in three different positions (flat, horizontal and downward);
• Check the appearance of the weld bead and the absence of porosity;
• Organize the time allocated to welding in order to optimize productivity;
• Handle filler products, bins, tools and equipment carefully and safely with the help of the overhead crane;
• Maintain your work area safe and clean;
• Perform all other tasks inherent to the position.

• Knowledge and mastery of the semi-automatic process;
• Good manual dexterity;
• Precise and rapid manual-visual coordination;
• Good perception of shapes to detect slight differences in the product;
