Technical Assistant for Vehicle Arrangement

For its vehicle fleet, within the Police Service, you will perform various tasks related to the arrangement of vehicles for police use, in order to assist with assembly and disassembly, following established procedures.

More specifically, you will:

• Carry out the dismantling of vehicles according to established procedures: removal of components from communication systems, emergency systems, as well as various types of vehicular equipment;
• Manufacture pre-production parts for vehicle assembly;
• Participate in the inventory of emergency communication equipment and components, as well as any other specialized equipment for police use by performing parts withdrawals from the sub-inventory for vehicle assembly;
• Perform preventive maintenance on fixed production machines;
• Inspect equipment and ensure compliance with specifications and parameters;
• Catalog the equipment required to perform your tasks as well as the parts used to execute them;
• Participate in the development of recommendations to improve work methods and the use of equipment.

• Hold a diploma of vocational studies (DEP) in the field of electronics, electromechanics, or automotive electricity, or any other related field;
• Have 3 months of relevant experience;
• Experience in the arrangement, installation, repair, and maintenance of specialized emergency equipment for different types of emergency vehicles will be considered an asset;
• Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license (Class 4A is an asset).
