Required profile:

You are a professional with relevant experience in the turnkey construction industry. You have at least a college diploma in civil, mechanical, or architectural engineering, or you have relevant experience in the construction field and a good command of English (an asset).

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Site Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Planning, coordinating, and supervising work on site
• Setting priorities and directing subcontractors according to the pre-established project schedule
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with OHS standards and monitoring them
• Working closely with the Project Manager and minimizing budgetary impacts by respecting the decisions made
• Ensuring, in collaboration with the Project Manager, that subcontractors fulfill contractual obligations and requirements
• Monitor the quality of work and promptly correct non-compliant work
• Organize and lead meetings with subcontractors
• Write daily site reports, complete inspection sheets, weekly schedules, and timesheets
• Act as a worthy representative of the construction company and maintain good relationships with everyone
