Mechanical Assembler

Reporting to the Engineering/Production Manager, you will be required to perform various tasks that contribute to the growth of our company. You will participate in the assembly of various products and verify their proper functioning before delivery to the customer. You will participate in machine installation and after-sales service at customer sites, as well as various other related tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assembly of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic subassemblies,
  • Wiring, adjustment, and testing of electromechanical subassemblies,
  • Technical problem analysis, troubleshooting, and repairs,
  • Installation and technical support at customer sites.

RELATED TASKS:

  • Unloading trucks (boxes, pallets, and wooden crates),
  • Lifting and handling,
  • Receiving and shipping goods,
  • Tasks related to the proper operation of the workshop.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • DEP, DEC, technical training, or relevant work experience in a related field (mechanics, electromechanics, and/or automation),
  • Resourcefulness and willingness to learn,
  • Manual aptitude and dexterity for detailed work,
  • Demonstrate autonomy,
  • Ability to analyze technical problems,
  • Read and interpret technical drawings,
  • Must be able to bend, squat, and lift loads up to 25 kg.
  • Spoken and written French,

ASSETS:

  • Availability to travel abroad,
  • Experience in mechanical and electromechanical assembly of industrial and/or robotic machines,
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics,
  • Use of measuring instruments,
  • Adaptability, punctuality, and motivation,
  • Interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, ethics, and professionalism,
  • Holder of a valid forklift license.
