MAIN CHALLENGES

Under the supervision of the Project Director – Environment, the project manager will have the following responsibilities:

• Conduct research, site visits, interviews, data interpretation and report writing as part of environmental site assessments;
• Coordinate all stages of environmental site characterization (CES) – Phase II and contaminated land rehabilitation projects;
• Supervise technicians as well as subcontractors on site;
• Participate in rehabilitation projects;
• Carry out site visits to ensure the quality of workmanship and the health and safety of the workers;
• Participate in CES Phase II and environmental rehabilitation work on site, if necessary;
• Plan and control budgets and deadlines;
• Communicate with clients and other stakeholders involved in projects;
• Compile and interpret data and results, then formulate recommendations;
• Write comprehensive technical reports and prepare other technical documents;
• Develop technical service offers and financial proposals.
