Welder-Assembler

We are looking for a Assembler/Welder (DAY/EVENING). A dynamic environment full of interesting challenges awaits you.

Your responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, based on 2D and 3D drawings, you will:

• Analyze and interpret welding symbols and geometric dimensioning
• Prepare parts to be welded and create mechanically welded assemblies
• Master and perform MIG welding methods in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical) on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum (TIG is an asset)
• Produce and assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system components according to plans and diagrams
• Participate in the installation or repair of equipment at customer sites
• Contribute to supporting the activities of others Departments
• Be responsible for equipment maintenance and the cleanliness of the workspace

Profile and skills sought:

• (DEP) in Welding and Assembly or any other related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Proficient in reading 2D and 3D plans,  and interpreting symbols
• Proficient in MIG (GMAW) and Flux Cored (FCAW) welding
• Experience in mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics [or training in industrial mechanics (an asset)]
• Experience in a manufacturing plant Metalworkers
• Organized and autonomous
• Methodical and meticulous in his work
• Aptitude for teamwork
• Ability to operate a forklift and overhead cranes

What we offer:

• Permanent position
• Salary range: $24 to $33.50 / hour
• Evening premium of $1.50/hour (if applicable)
• Daytime schedule: Monday to Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 PM / Friday 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM Evening Schedule: Monday to Thursday 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM (3-day weekend!) Additional Information: Welding Type: MIG Steel 95-98% of the time, MIG aluminum and occasionally TIG stainless steel.
