Laser Operator

The laser operator operates the machine used to cut sheet metal or other light metal parts or products.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Download the program from the server and install it on the machine's computer;
• Read the drawings;
• Check the metal pieces using precision tools and make the appropriate modifications, if necessary;
• Start production after the check;
• Install the sheets on the machine;
• Maintain and clean the machine;
• Deduct the materials used;
• Clean the workspace;
• Participate in taking Inventory.
• Check materials received for finishing.
• Complete quality documents (ISO).
• Properly arrange parts on pallets for shipping.
• To assist or support another member of the organization who is absent or during peak periods, perform all related tasks.

SKILL PROFILES AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Training/Experience/Certification

• Vocational Studies Diploma (DEP) in sheet metal work or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience.
